Description

• The 'naksha' or design of Rani Odhni embroidered jaal is taken from a 150 year old fragment of embroidery. The odhni is embroidered with the dabka and zardozi technique on silk organza and is lined with our signature hand woven pachranga silk. The Pachranga silk is painstakingly hand woven by our artisans in Banaras with a specialised dyeing and warp preparation where the yarn is divided into five equal parts, each of which are dyed in five different colours. The warp is then placed as per a specific sequence before weaving.
